With over 18+ years of extensive experience in the finance and accounting industry, Raed is a seasoned expert in analyzing accounting data and presenting financial reports with precision and accuracy, even under the most stringent deadlines. Having worked across various industries, including energy, pharmaceutical, technology, automobile, non-profit, manufacturing, and microcredit, Raed brings an international perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the table.
Throughout his career, Raed has excelled as a solid organizer, effectively communicating and collaborating with staff at all levels. He has gained invaluable experience working in multinational companies like Total Energy and Sanofi, where he has demonstrated a strong leadership presence.
Raed has held numerous managerial positions, including Financial Controller, Chief Accountant, and Advisor, demonstrating his exemplary leadership skills in managing finance teams of up to 10 members.
As part of lead teams, Raed has been instrumental in successful accounting system migrations to enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions such as SAP and Oracle. Furthermore, he has been actively involved in assisting small businesses in seamlessly migrating to cloud-based accounting systems, leveraging technology to enhance their financial processes and decision-making capabilities.
Beyond the realm of business, Raed has a strong commitment to community service. During tax season, he volunteers time and expertise to support non-profit organizations in the Metro Vancouver area, exemplifying his dedication to giving back and making a positive impact on the community.
